Love Your People can
help you help a team of
people be kinder and more accountable to each other and the people they serve.
What is Love Your People?
This is a declaration of care for our people – those we lead and those we serve. It was written by the bestselling author of 212° the extra degree® and Smile & Move® (Sam Parker).
A 5-minute read at most, this booklet was made to help all of us remember, more often than not, that the people around us (those we've allowed to be in our lives and those that have allowed us in theirs), deserve our care and attention.
There are 8 points to Loving Your People (contribute, be kind, be patient, be honest, encourage people, apologize, forgive, thank people). No puppy dogs, kittens, hearts or hugs (well, maybe a hug but it's not in the booklet).
This is the kind of love that holds us accountable to making good things happen.

Use Love Your People® with a group
Love Your People® is a message that will inspire and encourage people to be kinder and more accountable to each other. It's a reminder that the people around us (colleagues, customers, patients, students, friends, etc.) deserve our care and attention and encourages people to hold themselves accountable to that fact in the same way they would like others to do for them.
There are 8 principles to Loving Your People (contribute, be kind, be patient, be honest, encourage people, apologize, forgive, thank people) – all of which help in minimizing the interpersonal challenges that can make it difficult to get work done (good work).
Start by handing out the bestselling booklet (a 5-minute read at most which means people will really read it), play the video for your group and discuss it using the Leader's Guide, or do both. Then keep the message top-of-mind by handing out and/ or posting the fun reinforcement items (posters, reminder cards, t-shirts, wristbands, etc.).
It's simple enough to kick off or support an upcoming meeting, project, or event and deep enough to stand on its own as a theme or team building message. You might even find it helpful as an on-boarding tool or first-read for new hires (to set expectations for internal care and attention).
How it will help you...
